Event: Red Hat CI/CD Pipeline Lunch & Learn

Red Hat will provide a one-hour Lunch and Learn on 1 October discussing the importance of the CI/CD pipeline for DevSecOps. The first 30 minutes will be an overview of what a CI/CD pipeline is and why have a CI/CD pipeline followed by a 15-minute CI/CD demonstration using Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and ServiceNow. The last 15 minutes will be Q&A.

Red Hat's CI/CD Lunch and Learn focuses on both the mission owner and the software developer emphasizing the importance of building automated processes to get quality code into your environment consistently, quickly and efficiently. The presentation will touch upon the different frameworks–Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab, and Argo–used to configure pipelines to help better understand the right deployment models for your DevSecOps environment. With the current emphasis on the "develop low - move high" priority, Red Hat presenters will demonstrate key steps needed to do this and show how Red Hat contributes to the build, test and release phases of the pipeline.
