The board of directors of MISI are pleased to announce that it has joined forces with the Information Technology Acquisition Advisory Council Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) – Center of Excellence. The organizations have signed an MOU that allows for collaboration on cyber technology knowledge sharing, cyber expertise, conference support and other synergies.
MISI is recognized as a leading provider of expertise and test and evaluation resource for cybersecurity technologies.
The team at MISI is deeply engaged with DoD suppliers across the nation and overseas as part of the organization's efforts to find, test, evaluate and develop as necessary, cost effective cyber solutions in support of the nation and its supply chain. MISI's work includes an almost two year deep dive into studying the challenges and state of the defense industrial base (DIB) as it pertains to DFARS-7012 and readiness for the new CMMC requirements.
MISI and its DreamPort team provide stewardship over the DoD's Project Vigilis program that is working with Mentor Protege Program companies, DoD small business offices and a wide array of manufacturing institutes, national labs, military academies, colleges, and government entities to build a robust ecosystem in support of the DIB.
